Buy local – Australian Made

APC is proud to be certified Australian Made for our Pallet Racking and Steel Shelving solutions. Our decision to manufacture in Australia adds to our value proposition and buying local is an important consideration for our customers as they work toward meeting their sustainability goals.

Steel – A Sustainable Material

Steel is one of the world’s most sustainable materials. It can be recycled again and again without comprising on quality and then reused and repurposed, enabling its participation in the circular economy. The world has an ever-growing need for steel. Steel is used in construction, industry, and manufacturing. Australia will always need steel which means there are economic gains from being able to produce it locally and competitively.

Green Steel – Vital To Australia’s Economic Future

A $200 million grant from the Federal Government is helping Australian producers progress projects towards producing even lower-emissions steel in the future. The government wants to make sure products vital to Australia’s economic future, such as green steel are made here, but this will require innovation and new ways of processing iron ore.

“Clean, green Aussie made steel is the way of the future. Our economy needs it, and it will sustain and create great jobs in our regions.”

Ed Husic – Minister for Industry and Science.
